Welcome to The Longo Review
Science fiction books - Reviews, news and whatever else there is to talk, or write about this genre.
Welcome to The Longo Review by me, Mauricio Longo. According to Christopher Hopper, author of the “Ruins” series, I am a human encyclopedia of science fiction, but I like to consider myself just an avid reader.
I read well over one hundred books per year, of which about 90% are science fiction. Though I am a published author of non-fiction books, science fiction has always been a great passion of mine, ever since I read my first books in the genre when I was eleven years old. Since then, I’ve read thousands of books.
It used to be that I would wait for new sci-fi books, re-reading the ones I had. Those were the days before Amazon’s kindle and indie publishing assured in what I consider the Second Golden Age of Science Fiction and the availability of new titles went through the roof.
In The Longo Review, I write about books I’ve read or am currently reading, as well as discussing different aspects of science fiction stories that I find most interesting.
My goal is to help other avid readers, and why not just say it, fans of science fiction, to find their next great read and discover new titles, series, and authors.
