The Terran Fleet Command Saga
A fast paced series based on an interesting concept...
I held a long discussion with myself about whether I had missed adding the TFC Saga by Tori L. Harris to my previous post about Vintage Sci-fi. The conclusion was that despite having some characteristics that prompted its consideration, it also had others that gave it a more contemporary overall feel.
I just finished listening to TFS Ingenuity, the first book of this series, and I recommend it to anyone that enjoys a good science fiction story involving space combat. It isn’t just about combat, truth be told, but I find the author’s rendering of space combat scenes unique, especially in the later books of the series.
I read the first five books of the TFC Saga a couple of years back, and the release of the sixth, last year, prompted me to go through them again. This time in an audio version, instead of reading on the Kindle.
Now I am moving on to TFS Theseus, book two of the saga on my way to rediscover these books, which I really enjoyed when I first read them.
The Terran Fleet Command Saga is my recommendation for today. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
